INVITATION TO RADIOLOGISTS
In attachment we are sendind You information about Central and South-East European Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (CSEECMSC).
Our wish is to encourage research in area of multiple sclerosis (MS), treatment of MS patients and implementation of new standards in diagnostic procedures and to introduce scientific achievements in this area and directions of future researches to radiologists, also. The latest scientific achievements and vision of development will be presented by Charles Guttmann (Director of Neuro-imaging Center of Harvard University) on 9th of December at 4:10 PM.
On 10th of December he will also present set of sequences for MS diagnosis for radiologists who are interested in participating in planned scientific project regarding MR and MS. This project will be leaded by Charles Guttmann and some regional researchers who fullfil recommended standards.
MR centers which satisfy Harvard standards will also be presented and be recomended for helath professionals and patients on our web-site (www.cseecmsc.org) which will contribute to better MS patients follow-up, initiate periodical MR controls and introduction of MR as one of the parameters for treatment determination.
Complenentary parts of this research are poteomics project leaded by Lawrence Steinman and his assotiates from Stanford University and Pediatric MS leaded by Brenda Banwell .
